It's great that they already know their viewership numbers. I'm sure the two loons who will watch the show will both buy the merchandise. However, fans of both series will hate this new mash-up.

I'mma be honest... Kid me would've lost her mind over this. I loved me some My Little Pony and robots. I loved the animal designs of the Power Rangers' mechs, and I remember that when playing with those toys, I didn't treat them as vehicles or even the Rangers they belonged to. They were just robotic animals. This isn't too different.

Now I don't think their shows have any business crossing over. But merchandise-wise? The only thing really throwing me is the coloring. I know those are Prime's colors, but it looks weird and kinda tacky. Having all the blue up front and all the red in back just looks bad, like they dipped the opposite ends into buckets of paint.
