It's five fucking pages. If the user wanted to make a point, they could have made a small summary of the ideas and then say "Give this book a read, too" (which they admittedly pointed to at the very end, but still). Not even I want to sit down and read something that long on Tumblr. I'd blacklist the post on principle because it takes at least 6 scrolls just to get to the bottom of it.
It's such a weird ass thing to compliment someone on, but I sort of get where people are coming from. If you live your life by slang you're not going to get very far in the business world, but speaking how you're supposed to in certain situations , i.e. formal in a formal setting (I don't really care how people "sound" when it comes to accent or tone because I believe the vocabulary is much more important) is a skill everyone should learn because it is directly tied to your employability.
That all being said, patting someone on the head and basically saying "Look at you, you managed to talk like people!" to a black person is so unnecessary.

First of all, interpreting the trope of a magical nergo/saviour into meaning any dark skinned person saving a light-skinned girl is racist, is so horrendously stupid I already know what your going to say. To give a bit of info, the magical negro trope simply exists because there were so many cases of black people being characterized as being "magical" in media, but not having ANY personality traits outside of those positions. The main reason those tropes are bad is NOT because they exist. It's because they make for boring-ass characters. You've seen it plenty of times before and it gets old real fucking quick.
