I won't lie, I dig this mindfuck Navaverse shit from a fucked mind.
I want to say it reminds me very vaguely of Yume Nikki but I really don't want to associate a favorite game of mine like that very much with Navarro's poopy.

Still, like Sonichu or other hand-drawn horrors, it has its value as a window into hell.

Ah, the monster shown on OP's post is basically, the Ohgroid.

NAVAVERSE MONSTER OF THE DAY - OHGROID
http://navaverse.wikia.com/wiki/Ohgroid

The Ohgroid is the Greater Beast of Lust. The Ohgroid is the utmost infamous demon of Lust that can possibly exist. The Ohgroids are practically embodiments of the most depraved fetishes in existence. While most other demons affiliated with Lust are driven indulgence and are easily satisfied with simply raping their victims, Ohgroids are driven by complete sadism and will always rape, torture, and murder their victims with a diabolical glee. Ohgroids are not only filthy-minded, but they are also physically filthy with all sorts of abominable substances imaginable. Their evil has no limits and they will rape and mutilate their victims on sight. Along with this vile behavior, they tend to target virgin women and children the most out of all beings in existence. Simply their existence has caused mortals to commit unforgivable acts, but they seldom directly appear within the physical realms. Due to their extremely vile behavior, they are constantly hunted down by all sorts of intelligent beings, including demons, that consider such huntings a technical act of good. The Ohgroid has a Durability Value of 1,500.

A single Ohgroid has been featured in Eggmen: Mercenary Legends when Water-Egg and Fire-Egg hunted it down and killed it.

Just to let everyone know, this Navaverse franchise is targeted for everyone. You know, for kids!

What is even more messed up is that Gabe called himself "a bit of a White Supremacist" earlier. On Stormfront, they call black people "negroids" or simply "groids" for short. So he created an evil rape beast rocking with his three cocks out and indirectly names it after the Nazi term for black people. Like... subtle much?

He holds some messed up views and it seeped into his body of work. Raping children, racism, Nazism, Big Brother-like thought control. His universe is pretty much Hell. And I would know. ;)

It's body looks like a giant dick too.

Pretty sure he got lazy, traced his own lil' enchilada and decided to just go with it. Like with Chris, the obsession with phallus-shaped objects and penises hints at Gabe's own underlying sexuality issues.

Yeah, that's what confused me a lot.

I'm a writer, and I love to read about other folks' attempts of worldbuilding and world design. I try to approach all of that stuff with open mind and be respectful to other writers. Needless to say - *ahem* there are times when that's challenging.

People usually have some kind of a goal in mind. For a seasoned reader, it's not that hard to figure out what the author is going for.

I've been staring at Gabe's stuff for a while, and I still have no idea what he's trying to accomplish. Or, actually, I know what he's trying to accomplish, but I have no idea why he's doing this and who he's trying to impress.

And it goes back to what I think of worldbuilding as a form of art. I don't think art has to justify its existence. I think worldbuilding is a form of art that is perfectly suited for recreational writing - you can just go ahead and design cool stuff because it's fun. You can then go and find other people who find that same stuff fun. Other people may look at your stuff and say "okay, this clearly isn't all professional and it's kind of goofy, but at least the authors are clearly going somewhere with this".

So where is Gabe going? Is he actually having fun? Is he trying to tell himself or some other people something with this world?

We all know why Chris had Mary Lee Walsh in his stories, and even if it was childish as hell, you could still nod along and say "okay, Chris put it in the comic because he doesn't react well to others telling him to knock out his obnoxious behavior - he's immature, we understand that, but that isn't the worst thing he has done, oh no".

Gabe, why are there rape demons here, and what led to their creation?

Not to mention that with fewer tweaks MLW can actually be something kinda kickass. Okay, a Rita Repulsa (Villian in Power Rangers) ripoff, but you know if we are going to trace insparation from actually good things we will be here all day (Fun Fact: Batman was inspired very heavily by Zorro, and I would even go so far as to say that orignally he was pretty much Zorro transported to the modern age)

With the mindset of Gabe, he seems to draw random scribles first and then decide from his subconscious what they are. AND ALL HIS DRAWINGS LOOK THE SAME. Okay, actually thats not true, I shouldent lie. Let me try again. Gabe uses the same coloring for all his creatures. Yep, there we go. Coloring which makes everything look like a creature from hell.

And I dont think thats exactly what he is going for.

Gay Pen has no understanding of the word subtle. Everything must be flashy and have loads of unnecessary detailing. Villains must also be as two dimensional as possible (But its totally okay guys, since he "lampshades" it! R-Right guys?!) Most of his demons are categorized by the Seven Deadly Sins (how original) and so when it comes to lust, Gay Pen relishes the chance to go all out and put dicks and breasts all over the demon. Instead of being a succubus that tempts mortals into sin, Gaben decides to make his monsters phallic creatures intent on raping everything they come across. Now something like this could work, I mean Miura of the manga Berserk's fame makes all sorts of terrifying demons with overtly sexual symbolism as does HR Giger. The thing is, they know how to make it visually captivating and appealing while at the same time making the user uncomfortable. Gaben's work on the other hand, looks like something a bunch of autistic stoners would draw on a bathroom stall. It doesn't come off as thematically horrifying or appealing, just juvenile and revolting in a sense of "What the fuck was Gaben thinking".

Gay Pen's problem is that he keeps flipflopping on who the audience of the Nava-Verse is supposed to be. I've asked him numerous times and he has always given me the impression that he is just winging it. On one hand, he wants it to be filled with memes and tropes (remember one of his favorite games is Borderlands 2) while on the other hand he wants the Nava-Verse to be some sort of Avataresque epic film on par with Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy. On one hand he uses juvenile humor and meme spouting that a 14 year old would love but then talks about topics like genocide and rape. In Gaben's mind, he doesn't have to keep a particular audience in mind, the Nava-Verse will just become popular and well-liked on its own.

I can't be the only one that sees this.

Now theres not a big problem with having characters (primarily villians) that are simple or two-dimensional so long as they are an intresting forcce for the protagonist to face. I would get into this but now I actually need to ask a critical question beforegetting into this: What IS the 'story' if you will of the navaverse? Like if some poor deluded fool was to churn out a RPG in RPGmaker, following what Gabe wrote as gospel, what would it be about? Who is the hero? You cant just have a bunch of villians and leave it at that, there needs to be conflict.

And all I have seen from preliminary glarings of Gabe (He only caught my eye recently) his navaverse is just a bunch of backround and fluff. Knowing the complete history of how Hero Acadamy was founded by John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmit the third (as well as JJJSs life story) is okay supplemery material, but its not something you cram into the adventure of Bard Badass (Who works at hero academy) beating Big Evilton. I know he plans to sell his universe as a game... so what is it about?

From what I've read of Gay Pen's work, there are two main storylines that take place in the Nava-Verse:
  • There is the Infinite Film Reel of the Cosmos Saga with Connor Thorn as the protagonist. Connor Thorn is Gay Pen's mary sue sociopathic self insert who is an indie filmmaker that idolizes Christopher Nolan and has STRICT MORMAN parents that never let him do anything fun. Through some autistic fuckery he ends up getting sucked into the Nava-Verse via a magical film reel. In turns out in the Nava-Verse, he is a prophecized hero who will save the Nava-Verse from "Evil Ninja Emperor" Heinreich, a demon working for Lord Reson or some shit. Its basically John Carter with autism: Connor Thorn even has a dog alien named FRILLA just like WOOLA from John Carter.
  • The Egg-Men Mercenary Legends is about a team of edgy as fuck mutant crab aliens that look like cracked egg shells fighting the forces of evil led by Oseeron aka Overlord 1# who is an evil wizard demon thingy that killed Fire-Egg's parents and village.

That clears a few things up. Not alot, just a few.

Now theoreticly, the seccond story could work. A guy from a warrior tribe growing up under a harsh life with his tribe destroyed making dues as a mercenary. After many years in the trade, he finally has a good chance to strike back at the man who blew up his tribe. Actually sounds kinda cool.

The other one about Not-Gabe being transported to a fantasy world would be alright ... but you lost me at the chosen one BS. I dont know about anyone else, but thoose kindsof storys are only intresting if the prophacy is vauge as hell to begin with. Like if the prophacy is that Bard Badass slays Evilton and becomes king of the land in the prophacy.... only for him to become a more corrupt ruler then Evilton.

Woah! Did I just write a better story then gabe?

I think the Nava-Verse would work best as an anthology. Gabe clearly cannot stick to one story, so he might has well create a bunch of short stories. Also, he should give the universe a new name. Even something like "Galaxy B" would be better.

The Navaverse is one of the few lolcow-created franchises I really cannot make the slightest bit of sense out of. As retarded and incomprehensible as Sonichu was, you at least could get somewhat of an idea of what it was supposed to be about.

The weirdo creator of the comic and his super powered Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokemon ripoff friends living in some fucked up ideal version of the creator's home town, beating up and destroying people who said creator believes have wronged him in real life, such as a college dean, security guards, internet trolls, guys he was jealous of, police officers who arrested him, you get the idea. But the Navaverse is.. Well it's... What in the balls am I even looking at?

I think there's something about the second coming of god or some other religious shit, an apocalypse, and a bunch of strange demons/monsters/space aliens, but other than that, I have absolutely no idea what the hell is going on. All of the characters and monsters barely even look like living creatures, and more like what would happen if somebody dumped a bucket of paint onto a children's coloring book and tried to clean it off. I wonder how Moleman would describe his "Navaverse" to somebody he's just met or someone who'd like to know more about it.

He probably just draws something on the top of his head and stuffs it into his universe. That's the only explanation I can think of for all the bizarre variety.
