And they are kind of lying about not being allowed. I still see used in both (tonge in cheek and 'tonge in cheek' ways. It seems the rule is only enforced when is 'someone they don't like'. I dislike the term but after an incident disussing that and the PC gamer writter apology, I don't mind it to much anymore. But is clear that is a rule that is only enforced at convenience.

I actually wonder if there is an innate human reaction to not trust or fear darker people/animals. I wonder if any good studies have been done on it. I'm just making a guess here, but if somebody had never seen a white or black person until one day they saw both together, I'd imagine they'd have a a more trusting reaction to the white person.

I probably sound like I'm talking out of my ass, but if we keep it to evolution, I feel like black creatures imply stealth or predators. I wouldn't be surprised if one of these survivalist instincts backfire on us when it comes to civilized society.

This isn't to say racism is purely natural or discount the social influences on racism, of courses.
