But a lot of people are freaking out in the most autistic ways possible over this instead of looking for a roundabout to get past it if it takes effect. So much salt on both sides and censoring almost everything they dislike in sight.

This is why I stick with /pol/ for my sources instead of reddit, it was always a shithole anyway.

I'll make a wild guess that this will be a hot button issue when the Mid-Terms roll around in 2018 and be rumbling along as a hot button issue in 2020. I fully expect the big Internet firms like Google to be pumping money into pro-Net Neutrality campaigns and Comcast and AT&T to be pumping money into anti-Net Neutrality campaigns.

No letting the megacorps having control over the internet is a bad idea for all people and making the internet a utility was one of Obama's smarter decisions.
