What if we got Adult Swim to crossover the Jellies and the Squidbillies?

Blacks/Jellyfish meet Southerners/Squids.

These two universes must coexist.

They don’t have to be from the same taxonomical category to be in a show together you dumbfuck. Being ocean-dwelling animals is ENOUGH of a commonality to build a theme on.

They share an environment.

Like how, say, “Barnyard” has talking chickens and talking cows, because while chickens aren’t related to cows, they share a THEME of being farm animals.

Brandon Small pissed off the AS executives so much he's not allowed back there. Even with a crowdfunded end to Doomstar Requiem, they still wouldn't let them make a final episode. The only way Small gets shown on the network is him playing Action Johnny in Venture Bros.

But back on point, Squidbillies had some fantastic moments, but damn did they ever start recycling old jokes. Numerous episodes were just rehashes of episodes in the first three seasons. But Unknown Hinson really does sell Early. Snyder as Granny is a great thing, too.

The episode with the "letters from Sherman" had me on the floor.

For me, Squidbillies best quality is that it seems to nail its portrayal of the South. Like, there's obvious lazy jokes like "lol inbreeding" or "lol stupid," but the show feels like it has a kind of insight you'd get from actually living there, like how the characters speak in the appropriate dialect or things like the Black Ice episode.

But, what brings it down for me is Early himself. I don't like him. I don't have a problem with jerk characters either; I love Master Shake. But Early isn't funny like Shake is and he seems to never get his comeuppance.
