New sonic game could bring OPL back to YT -

The link above is the French trailer to a just announced new sonic game coming out this year to accompany a TV show coming this year as well. Sonic, Knuckles, Tails and Amy Rose have all been redesigned and this certainly looks like the type of thing OPL would have some very strong opinions about. Not just because it's a new sonic game, but because it's one of the biggest transformations in the character design since the jump to 3D (especially in the case of knuckles).

I don't think this is something Chris can help but be vocal about. I don't think he will be satisfied with a few facebook posts. I think he'll put his new YouTube channel to use in order to directly confront Sega on this. Thoughts?

I don't think anything will bring him back to YouTube at the moment, not even this. Often when you predict what type of reaction he'd have, he'd do do the opposite, usually. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't even acknowledge this

Chris is not SCSF, i don't think he gives a shit if the sawneek characters suffered a re-design or not, he'll play the vidya anyway, if he posts something about it on facebook, it won't be relevant even to him, he has other reasons to rant and tardrage, like his galpals, trolls and people that don't give a shit about him.

More than likely no, for a few reasons.

If Chris was going to get that worked up over a Sonic game, he would have gone nuts with praise over Generations since it encompassed every Sonic game over the last 20 years. Seeing as how Chris has been with Sonic since the beginning he would have had a field day with that due to the fact that it's a payoff for him for being a heavily devoted fan for that long (which is really sad in a way). I'd say that Bob dying had a lot to do with that, but a couple of demos had come out long before then and the only thing that was remotely close to happening at the time was the Calling Out Saga.

Second, he got really up in arms about Equestria Girls on Facebook, particularly over the ponies' designs and humanizing, and only made a few irate posts over the subject rather than taking to Youtube.

I highly doubt that he's going to make a return to Youtube over this. He might make a few Facebook posts, but since day 1 whenever Sonic's been involved it's incredibly obvious that in Chris' mind Sonic can do no wrong despite evidence to the contrary. Also his closed mindset on being a fan is a "If you aren't now, then you never were" stance. He's probably going to look at it and not have any problems with it whatsoever on the sole principle that it's Sonic. Also inb4lock
