New Star Trek movies--new Chekhov dead - Is there probably a curse...or definitely a curse?

With both Old Spock and New Chekhov dead, do you think they're going to give up on filming a fourth reboot one?

They can easily find a way to write him out of the series, or they could just cast a new actor as Chekhov.

Wow, I just read up on Anton Yelchin's death. I'm sure they'll put a "In Memory" at the end. But will the critics give it scathing reviews even though one of the cast members is dead?

I heard from hollywood dirtsheets that 3 was probably going to be the last one anyway. Apparently the old Trek rights holders and Bad Robot were getting into some backstage bitchfits over who owned what parts of the new continuity.
iirc they just have New Spock and New Kirk signed for another movie, which doesn't me a whole lot of faith in the production.
