Kids of lesbians are healthier than kids from traditional nuclear families? I'm skeptical. At least regarding the boys.

Testosterone is a hell of a drug. I think all boys need an actual male father figure in their lives. Someone who's physically experienced male puberty.

Testosterone has the potential to turn a boy into a serial killer or a CEO. It's essential they have a father figure who can teach them to channel their energy into something beyond stocking shelves at walmart, endless masturbation and video games.

For some reason the people I know who were raised by gay men seemed to turn out better than the ones raised by lesbians or even straight couples. One advantage on a macro scale for gay men, in terms of factoring in how well kids turn out, is that if they want to have kids they have to jump through a lot more hoops and so there’s a bit of a higher standard for parenthood unlike with straight or lesbian couples. In contrast, with most of the lesbian households that had kids that I knew of generally one of the partners was actually bi, had kids from previous relationships, and was insane.

It’s a small sample size but to be honest as a guy I’d rather have two dads than two moms. The gay dads I’ve known of also were generally wealthier than the lesbians too. I’m not sure why that is.
