Waypoint's latest podcast spends the majority of their episode talking about Nick Robinson. In my opinion this the most indepth commentary by people who actually work in the industry along side Nick. Specifically Patrick Klepek and Austin Walker.
I haven't listened to the whole thing but while skimming I did hear Austin mention that this is a "inside-baseball" thing and he himself is not sure how much people at Polygon already knew about Nick. Austin mentioned he had heard "things" as well. Austin mention how they've been told not to report on this in any depth until after the investigation, that there are conflicts of interests. He mentioned this annoyed him because if you Google Nick you get the NeoGAF and KotakuInAction threads.
I'm still listening to it now, I edited the podcast to cut off the first ~35 minutes of unrelated chatter, but it's still 40+ minutes: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1e96JpAbL46

5:40m Austin outright admits the reason everyone was acting like they knew something was because a lot of people have known stuff for a long time, including himself. Leads into Austin talking about VICE senior editorial telling them to wait until the investigation completes due to conflicts of interest. Leads into Patrick crying about KotakuInAction.

it's amazing how much they're clearly talking down to a childish audience, straight up explaining the basics of social sexual danger while taking an equally immature "things aren't black and white your way, they're black and white OUR way" stance and claiming that not having "innocent until proven guilty" shouldn't apply to communities (without pointing out the fact that accusations become a weapon that always works regardless of how genuine it is)
they also mention that "If I hit someone in a car and drove away, I'd need to go to jail someone should say something!", i genuinely wonder what they feel about caitlyn jenner
they also came to a pseudo-intellectual consensus that art is inexorably tied to the artist, and that it's impossible (and problematic!) to enjoy past or future material by that content maker after they become a shitlord. someone should secretly record the polygon offices with a playlist of Micheal Jackson playing in the background and see if they'll cannibalize themselves entirely

Good ol' Suicide Gies. I'm happy for him, because if his DOOM gameplay, or his general attitude towards most of the games he wrote about is any indication; he's not enjoyed writing about video games for a long, long time. Hopefully his art degree will lead to a long and successful career in a bay area coffee shop.
I also find it super coincidental that the man frequently mocked for his suicide girls account has left in the wake of a colleague's private sexual exploits being made public.
SJWs are slowly starting to realize they fell for the sex positivity movement, which is obviously something a bunch of horny young adults will flaunt around for an ego boost. It's really not about "Hey, sex is great! Don't forget to use contraception!" It's more of a "Hi, please buy my nudes. Everyone should be polysexual.
