Nothing from Scott regarding the anniversary of Alec's death, just posts about Massachusetts politics (Markey vs. Kennedy III), posts simping(?) for Biden (remember this guy is a socialist and a Bernie supporter), posts shilling Deep Blue Sea 3,, posts shilling his merch... I'm not too sure why I'm trying to turn this into a Scott thread; he might be a backstabber and a grave dancer, but he isn't all that particularly interesting beyond that.

Bruh. How does someone end up like this? The only people who don't like cops are the ones who want to take your shit. Most people want good policing, not no policing.
I'm not too well versed in Democratic Socialist Twitter, so maybe they've been up and giddy like this since George Floyd happened. They have to realize society has to have at least some policing to keep things in order.
DSA types want no police, but also no guns and no right to self-defense against criminals. So basically everyone too poor to afford private security will be at the mercy of the North American Pavement Ape, and if you try to resist a social worker comes and takes your kids or nationalizes your BugPod or whatever.
DSA types also want no prisons, so criminals can run wild.

I'll let you read the article yourself. I just find it ironic how, despite Scott being a self-professed democratic socialist, has his article posted on a site owned by Red Ventures, who purchased the website from ViacomCBS, one of the biggest media companies, late last year (especially since Scott's been writing articles for Giant Bomb when the latter corporation still owned that website, and the like of Metacritic, GameSpot, CNET, etc.)

Of note, he lists his religion as "Christian - other" and wanted to have children "someday". Adding on to his then-Christian beliefs, he lists two Christian books as his favorite.
Speaking of old stuff, his website as it was in 2008, long before he considered himself a game developer. None of the images load anymore (probably because of how Web Archive is), but at least there's legible text:
