The Ninja Gaiden Master collection has been out for a few days now, and reactions seem to be mixed. What do you guys think? I like Sigma 1 albeit not as much as Black and I think Sigma 2 is mind-numbingly boring. I hear 3 Razor's Edge is decent though. It's also funny seeing newfags playing NG for the first time and getting filtered by everything about the game.

I really wanted to get these as a firsr intro to the franchise but I heard that some autistic grudge has basically ensured that the better versions of these games will never be rereleased. Shame.

I definitely recommend Sigma 1 as it's a little more newcomer friendly than Black, but you'll need an Xbox for the best versions of NG1 and 2. They're backwards compatible on Xbox One and Series X/S, with NG2 having better performance on at least Xbox One X.

I kept reading rumors that they mostly got rid of almost half of the graphic violence, including certain scenes with blood in it. I’m not sure if this is what Ninja Gaiden fans would want, since even back then, they didn’t get rid of that much.

I beat Simga 1 on the PS3 on Ninja Dog difficulty, and it was HARD AS BALLS. This is coming from someone who beat Ghouls n' Ghosts on the Genesis.

Lack of blood should be the least of your worries.
