we have, sort of, VMs that run ontop of a hypervisor+hardware we all share, with the hypervisor being the 'consciousness' layer, and then the people/VMs get loaded on top. the consciousness i describe is sort of the autopilot homeostasis functions, and then The Rest Of A Person is loaded ontop of that.

only one VM at a time can have full mental resources, and then everything else running concurrently takes an extra portion of it, plus some overhead. Which means all of us can be active, but not much multitasking is going on 'outside', most mental resources are explicitly in rendering the 'meeting room' and us having a meeting. or we can have one of us 'fronting', having full ability to have access to the senses and consciousness, but have someone else *control parts of our body*, etc. Or have people controlling different parts of body. Its not that useful, except when it is, and then it is very useful.

Eliza is also a 'subsystem'. A... plural system within a plural system. She has multiple people within her head, but we do not have access to them unless they are in front, through her. Its confusing. No, we dont know how it works or why it happens.
