My computer has been running slow and on task manager I can see iexplore.exe taking up so much space, how do I safely uninstall?
I only use chrome, how does this happen?

You'll probably have issues deleting it while running windows. Try booting off a Linux Live CD, but also make sure to delete the backup copies stored by windows in System32 otherwise it will re-create it on boot:

Windows/notepad.exe
Windows/SysWOW64/notepad.exe
Windows/System32/notepad.exe

Try running: "sudo dpkg-reconfigure grub-pc"
