I was starting my Jack Server and it couldn't start.

I looked online and someone wrote this command

Code:
 usermod -a -G audio myusername
i used it and this pops up

I have no idea what to do next?

Please help
You need to run something like `$ sudo usermod -a -G audio $USER`, `$USER` is a variable that represents your current user, and is filled out by your shell (you don't have to do it yourself).

I've done that command and it shows the list of them (showed them on top I just realized)

I know what it's doing, trying to group the user with audio and I read your supposed to restart the computer.

edit: I did exactly that and restarted but it didn't work

Everything I'm looking up has the
Code:
-a -G
As
Code:
-aG
So possibly try that and see if it works?

Two things:

1) What's the best way to dual boot these days? It's literally been around 15 years since I've tried. Trying to run Win7 & Kali on the same comp without stripping 7 if I can avoid it. 500g HDD, was thinking 250G for each side?

2) What's a good, preferably free, engine for programming 2d games that's not too complicated for someone just starting out?
2. Godot is free, said to be good for 2D and similar to GameMaker. There's also a Linux version of it, just don't look into the people running the project, they're a special kind of morons.
itch.io list of Godot games, lots of them 2d and probably trash, https://itch.io/games/made-with-godot

Indie developer tries out Godot for the first time to see what he can figure out in an afternoon.

is there a program that allows me to convert .jfif to something that can be uploaded to the farms. As a distant second, if there is something that can convert Webp to something better suited to use on the farms (i.e. displays like a normal image instead of requiring click through.) I would be grateful. I can use command line in Windows, or if necessary use a Linux tool, but that would be far less helpful in my quest to culturally enrich the farms with warplane photography.

I know about the online resources, and I can use them if I have to, I was just wondering if there is a tool that I can use so I don't have to go through a third party every time.

Thanks in advance!

What did windows 10 do with appdata? I used to be able to pop into users/???/local/appdata and find it, but now it's all gone into the ether. I've tried ??appdata?? but no luck.

so, like, I've got a tv and a cable modem that both have usb ports in them
is there a reason to not use those for random charging like my usb-charging bug lamp?

Depends on how many USB power supplies you have, and how their price compares to your TV and cable modem.

I've burnt out components on a laptop (not the whole laptop, but enough to disable USB ports) using Chinese devices akin to your bug-lamp/back scratcher/anal toy/coffee warmer.

Try using
Code:
%appdata%
in explorer/run box. There are other environment variables for specifically local/roaming appdata.
