Eh, judging by the first minute or so I thought it would be like Death Wish, but with a MC who was more of a bitch at the beginning. That would have been a better fit for Odenkirk imo. He could do more comedy stuff as a suburban slub who slowly becomes a badass.

John Wick "rip off" but was enjoyable and did enough new things to not feel like a retread. With that said hope this movie is a one off and not the start of a series

Didn't know that but you can still always rip off and rehash your old ideas, it's been done a lot in video games lately with stuff like mighty number 9 and bloodstaine, however that doesn't mean it's good or bad.
