Then, the recession hit and the working and middle classes got so royaly fucked people turned to populist right and radical left parties. This has been happening all over Europe for a decade now, with certain countries getting far right (Hungary) or far left (Greece) goverments into power. Or whatever the fuck is going on in Italy with 5 Stars and in UK with Boris Johnson.
