Haven't been keeping up with NC in a long ass while. Most recent thing I've watched was his Toonami review, and that was only after remaining abstinent from his content since 2010-2012. Holy fuck it's painful to get through. Everything about his sketches are forced and his new millennial crew is godawful.

His let's play of Bart's Nightmare also comes to mind, he got massive criticism and ended up handling it very well; admitted he fucked up in a comedic manner and would for awhile occasionally reference the video as his own medal of shame. Come to think of it, despite the douchy mcnickpick character being a childish way of addressing the commentators, Doug was still a lot more honest in talking about his own mistakes in those videos, as well as more willing to poke fun at himself. Ever since he resurrected the nostalgia critic he's heavily distanced himself from the honesty he would at least make an effort to display (probably might've occurred earlier too, but I use that time-frame as reference for convenience). Now the fame has gone to his head and he's ironically turned into the kind of egotistical artist-with-a-vision he accuses others of being.

doug cancelled himself, and after getting flack for demo reel and getting mountains of fans demanding a return, he took it as "well, the fans must love everything about NC, guess i cant do any wrong with that"

What's the deal with the embarassing furry shit? Everyone knows Dougs a hack but where did this connection come from? Did black furry man work some magic? I can tolerate Dougs autism but that furry shit takes it to a whole new level.

As a complete aside, The Wall is the weakest of the "good" Floyd albums, the rest of Meddle is unfairly overshadowed by Echoes (which is understandable because it's arguably their best song), Nick Mason is the best member but none of them can write for shit without the others.

Finding out that those DevArt tier furry characters weren't even created for the review just solidifies Doug's MO.
He's always exploited the narcissism and vanity of autists by promising them "exposure", ever since starting Channel Awesome, that's always been how he's supplemented his own content.
He's still doing the same thing that earned him over a dozen ex-friends who now hate his fucking guts, almost half of them wishing he'd get his entire business shut down. It's not hard to imagine history repeating itself with this new batch.
