Oh, the slide in views is still happening. Now he's averaging around 300K for a Nostalgia Critic video. That is really bad considering before The Wall video he was averaging well over a million. It'll just continue to slide. The questioning is what is the breaking point where Doug can no longer afford to hire his little acting troupe and his "studio".

I think they're already sinking. Another bad take opus that goes viral for all the wrong reasons might do it. But I think Doug, Rob and Michaud are considering Plan B options when this finally is no longer profitable for them to do.

Edit: I noticed in the Tom & Jerry video (that I heavily skimmed through and once you remove all the plugs including the charity plugs the review is closer to 19 minutes long) that Malcolm and Tamara are only in the beginning sketch and that was it. You could say COVID restrictions but I'd be willing to bet that he can't afford to pay them to come out as often as he used to.

As a side note YouTube pushes Channel Awesome as recommended. It doesn't help due the fact that Nostalgia Critic format ages like milk carton stuck behind the radiator, Doug and rest of Channel Awesome degenerates aren't exactly funny after woke disease spread from Lindsay to Linkara. Combined with cringe and YouTube going to shit, Zoomers are more interested ogling at Vtubers, having sugar paper thin skin in current year, being trannies, furfags, etc. Due the fact that content creators are scared shitless to try to be funny and offend some 1/256 native American or something similar and get cancelled as a result.

This is why likes of Linkara are sucking tranny cock, whore himself on twitch playing Pokémon or other children's games.

Doug can't seem to find new formats, innovate or create projects that aren't unfunny or dated. He writes a manchild who is stuck in past and wants old times to come back, unfortunately for him they aren't and his fragile ego will not accept feedback or innovate.

For example James Rolf reviews modern games, does things with his white couch nigger Mike Matei.

Doug unlike James, Sage know how to shill merch and get sponsors.

And lastly entire CA are DEVOID of charisma and magnetism. Not inability to improve themselves as script writers.

Out of the blue, I decided to watch his Blade Trinity video and it was just so lazy. Utterly lazy. Why Blade Trinity out of the blue? Who knows? Maybe lead up to that and review the Blade movies or do a retrospective video? No? Too much effort for Doug? The most baffling thing is that he never once brings up the bevy of behind the scenes drama for the film. There's a wealth of info on that shit, mostly provided by Patton Oswalt, and Doug doesn't feel that's even worth a mention how Wesley Snipes refused to cooperate, would call Ryan Reynolds a cracker, would stay in his trailer and smoke pot all day, and get physically violent with the director and crew until the director and Patton befriended some bikers and brought them to set as protection.
