There's a reason why I care what /cow/ thinks of us and why I'm a hardass about sperging, A-Logging, etc. - because I don't want this forum to turn into another Offshore CWCki.

It reached a point where Clyde and Crass decided it was fun to fuck with people. I believe there was a point where it was renamed "The Retard Bin" and I said "Nobody's going to seriously use a forum called 'The Retard Bin'" and Crass said to me "They'll use it because we tell them to."

For the first while, Offshore was pretty cool. Good discussion and a fairly large userbase. Then it went to shit.

I actually had an Offshore CWCki account, but I couldn't view anything when logged in due to being a part of the Sonichu 11 forum (a forum for a fan project that never came to be).

I honestly haven't heard of "offshorekiki" before, even though I've been following these forums since the Yuku forums in 2010. It's probably for the better.

I remember the offshore cwcki. It was like walking on eggshells. I once posted that I felt guilty liking "Family Guy," because Chris liked it. Which is a newbie movie (I learned about Chris from trombonista summer 2010). But I got blasted for it. I also said how I liked Seth MacFarlane because he has the same political views as me and got blasted for that too. I mean now, I don't really like where Family Guy is going, but I still like the old episodes, and I don't feel guilty watching it because Chris likes it.

Also, I remembered when Mei (I think that was one of the admins or moderators) instituted "retard points" as kind of a three strikes rule. I was worried about posting because I was afraid of getting those strikes, and I was new to all of this, so I was afraid I might say something stupid.
