Like OPL and plenty of others, I happen to like certain video games and animated series. I have zero shame in admitting I grew up with Sonic, Pokemon, Nintendo game consoles, and so on, and still like them into my adult years. It's just a part of who I am.
That being said, I've recently begun to realize I find thoughts about OPL's craziness or the Sonichu fandom creeping in when I partake in these hobbies. Case in point, a few weeks back I was hanging with a few friends and we were playing Sonic Lost World (that being the Wii U game) and riffing on it. When I watched a cutscene between Sonic and Amy Rose play out, I actually said something about Rosechu and quoted some of her dialogue from the comics. Yeah, that was a bit hard to explain.
So, anyone else find you can't quite enjoy something as much as you used to because of associations with CWC?
