Jay seems to be trying to tone down his internet presence dramatically so something must have happened since his latest journal entry and now.

It first started with him removing mention of Mandy from this dA bio then a week or so later he just made his Steam private, wiped all his journal entries, hid who his watchers are, and probably some other things. Something happened. Maybe he continued to watch the forum after the big "offense" of his and realized people weren't going to stop watching him and just finally decided to go quiet, maybe he realized during his quiet week by himself that he enjoys the solitude, maybe someone at work found out some of the weird stuff about him, maybe someone is coaching him, could be anything.

I'm more curious as to how long Jay's ego will let this last. I feel like he eventually has to vent about his life somewhere. It's just interesting how a guy who claims he has nothing to be ashamed of and feels "guilty" if he doesn't air out his unfiltered thoughts felt the need to wipe everything. It doesn't seem like he removed any of his weird stories or Hero Team pages so he still has stuff that could be potentially embarrassing if a coworker found them.

His Golden Wiki is still up and full of self-promoting bullshit as usual, with all existing articles that are clearly biased in his own words locked from being editable from outside sources. Above all else we need to make sure our wiki stays up, too. People need to know this guy is kind of a loony.

I don't know if people NEED to know. He seems content with locking himself in his room and barely interacting with anyone. It's just fucking funny to see him act like the shit he wants and expects to happen is normal and then see reality clash with it. He has the ego and optimism Chris had in the early days but he has a bit of that Nick Bate shuddercow in him. The issue is he has no dedicated trolls and now he's very aware he's being watched so we went from minimal content to scraps. Maybe someday he'll have a group of proper handlers that can make him worth following on a semi-regular basis. Hell, maybe he has one now and they're the ones instructing him to lower his web presence.

it's a shame that jay is suffering the Church-ism of having virtually everything he's done archived due to him relentlessly not listening to common sense. imagine the grief he could have spared everyone—especially himself—if he eradicated himself months ago. but i suppose that he needed to hear the same shit over and over again in order for it to actually sink in.

at least, that's what i hope has happened. the only other option would be his mother / his employer finding about... anything, and him having to actually deal with the real life repercussions of it. which would be frustrating as per-usual, but also potentially actually funny if we ever find out.

it's sort of saddening in a bizarre way to see the universal constant of the massive ego sperging on his dA page gone, though.

but i'm not optimistic at all this is him actually learning, though. it's been seen that we are the second group to discover jay, already being banned from a ppg forum for his behaviour. jay is never going to change.

I don't think it'd be his mom because what little we know indicates that he can do no wrong, ever. If she found out about all this, she's much more likely to come here and start screaming at us then telling him to delete everything and lay low.
