As @OtterParty requested, I'll make this more clear. The incident in question happened when a white boy spoke, I mean..., culturally appropriated Spanish and Futbol. This lady (Obi-Microaggressions) got upset and some rude emails were exchanged between the two students, this blog was made after the prior thing @neverendingmidi brought up iirc. Same person complained both times and rallied other campus SJWs to be on her side.

Oberlin was once considered among the top five liberal arts colleges (alongside Amherst, Williams, Swarthmore, and Wellesley), but it has declined hard in the rankings. I wonder how much of it is due to increased leftoid idiocy.

I will give them credit though, because unlike Swarthmore, they didn't produce Arthur Chu.

I believe this started when a student claimed to see someone walking around campus dressed in KKK regalia. This caused an uproar, how could such horrifying racism exist?! There were calls for all white students to have sensitivity seminars, have to go to lectures on the evils of white privilege, etc., etc., etc.

Well, the college watched security tapes and found absolutely nothing, other than one exceptional individual who was wearing a blanket instead of a coat. Then, instead of saying "hey guys, false alarm." They then hid this finding, feeling that well, the fact that somebody thought they saw the KKK, was good enough to show that the white student body was a hotbed of racial animosity and they should be shamed.

Eventually this all came out, and Oberlin staff looked like idiots, the white students who'd been pointlessly harangued for nonexistent rascism probably became a bit more cynical, and donations dropped.
