So I saw it last night; I really enjoyed it and I have to say, it's probably one of the best Disney movies I've seen by far. The way they handled stereotyping was pretty good; they didn't beat around the bush but it wasn't too heavy handed either.
I fucking lost it at the fennec fox accomplice though. I felt so betrayed. He was so cute but he was actually a conman.
At least it didn't have any unnecessary and bad musical numbers.I thought it was okay. Not a fan of Disney but it was easier to sit through than Frozen.
I just hope Disney learned its lesson from Frozen and doesn't oversaturate the market with useless Zootopia merch
You know they will, despite their so-called 'ignoring the deviant groups'.
It's not due to be released in the UK for another two weeks. I thought the days of us getting films after America were gone, but that doesn't seem to be the case with Disney/Pixar films (Wreck-It Ralph wasn't released here until months after its US premiere). It's also called Zootropolis over here for some bizarre reason. I prefer the original title.

Well, color me surprised, no one was really expecting too much out of this movie, and it appears to be well on it's way to being one of the most loved Disney movies of all time.

It even beat Frozen on the rating side of things.
The movie even made a joke about that.At least it didn't have any unnecessary and bad musical numbers.
