I'm inclined to suspect that Chris-Chan's transexual experience is rooted in the forlorn hope that it will radically change his life for the better, and not because he has genuine dysmorphia. I suspect but cannot prove this is now the leading cause of sex changes.

That generally seems to be a sound consensus that most people have come to the conclusion with him, however there lies the underlying problems that we are unsure of what mental issues that he may be experiencing that has made think and act in certain ways, as well as some of the medication that he's taken like all the feminizing hormone pills that may have screwed with his head probably a little it too much.

It’s really strange to me but also very intriguing how complicated an issue the “is Chris ‘really’ trans?” question can be. In the broader sense, it carries a psychological component in asking what capacity people with autism can even comprehend complex subjects like gender, and specific to Chris how sincere he actually is in the belief itself.

I’m not at all researched in autism, and I know there is a pretty wide spread in people’s capacity to function as autistics, so I’d rather just let that point sit, other than to say that those with more severe disabilities be treated similar to children, where they are not considered able to make decisions like that on their own. And that there are some people on the spectrum who—regardless of your feelings about it personally—are mentally and socially competent enough to determine their gender for themselves.

Now, specific to Chris, since there are so many posts on this and I’m likely just regurgitating what had already been said, I’ll just rattle a couple arguments for and against Chris’ decision on gender being taken seriously.

-Pros-
• Chris already had a documented history of cross dressing
• It was likely pressure Chris felt from the Lumberjack before his passing preventing Chris from more seriously pursuing his urges
• it’s been 3-4 years since initial troonout and Chris hasn’t walked back on his decision yet, and Chris can’t even commit to drawing a page of Sonichu for people that pay him
• Although Chris was influenced heavily by Ideas Guy, Chris already believed that cartoons existed in some capacity in reality as evidenced by his call with Alec, meaning that regardless of how absurd you might find his beliefs that they are still sincerely his beliefs
• Chris has historically expressed a discomfort with his own penis / shows other signs of BD
• Chris actually seems happy to be trans
• Chris wasnt at all traditionally masculine when he identified as male / consumed cartoons and entertainment geared towards women / had no male friends outside of Pokémon nerds

-Cons-
• Chris is a huge fucking retard with no actual understanding of how gender functions in society
• Chris has also been entertaining the delusion that he’s a literal god / dimensional merge etc for a couple years now (or it feels that long at least). If he really believed these things, he should be in a nuthouse and shouldn’t be deemed equipped to determine his gender. If he’s lying, how do we trust his sincerity in his decision to be trans?
• It could be argued that Chris already saw being trans as a potential cheat code to spawn gf, and the Ideas Guys just pushed him all the way down that path
• Chris’ hatred for men which could influence his decision is more likely just from the fact that they steal his potential partners than it is the idea that Chris doesn’t relate to male gender roles

Im sure I missed some but I feel like those are the primary contentions. To conclude, I think there is too much evidence that suggests Chris isn’t mentally equipped enough to responsibly determine what his gender is, and that “misgendering” Chris shouldn’t be considered any more impolite than not playing into his delusions about the merge and other fantasy bs.

They're separate issues. The transgender stuff preceded by years the CPU goddess/Merge stuff.

His pseudo-religious beliefs about himself are more of a psychological issue - escapism as a coping mechanism. Like a person who joins a cult to find meaning in life. Chris can still carry out the mundane parts of his daily life - getting up and heading to the store to buy food, running errands, etc - even while holding his beliefs.

The conditions for gender dysphoria and transgenderism also don't take a person's sanity into account. The way the conditions are written, as long as the person consistently identifies as a gender other than their real one, they meet the threshold.

Idea Guys weren't involved with it. The catalyst was some unknown troll back in 2011 who played into his gender issues by telling him he should get in touch with his feminine side and be a tomgirl because being a guy is too hard.

It's unconfirmed regardless, it seems to just be a "he said, she said" situation from people regarding this evidence, you could say though that the seeds were already planted at a very early point in time when he made the Crystal's sister character in 2005 to be a female copy version of him.

It's hard to say. I personally don't think that Chris has been a tranny all along. He had some slips about feminine soul when he talked with Sonichu fangirls or that picture in Barb's underwear that trolls told him to take, but otherwise he was as straight as a railroad tracks.

Then after some back and fourth near the end of Jackie saga, he told her that he is a tomgirl a.k.a. crossdresser, meaning that he is a man, who likes to wear women's clothes. During call out saga he even called ADF a homo multiple times while wearing a makeup, lol. First he called himself just that on his FB profile, but some time later became full blown troon and began preying on lesbians. It's also funny how he expressed hatred for his own dick to the point of calling it "ugly growth", but then in the email talked to Kim about sticking his dick into his own ass while proclaiming "it is so big and you women ignore me, robbing yourself of it".

I have a theory about why incels are trooning out so often. They hate other males because they are more successful with women, they also hate themselves because they unsuccessful with women. They say they hate women, but only because they can't have them, despite being obsessed with sex with them. After years of festering between those they slowly come to the idea of having a woman around by "becoming" a woman, like women who want to take care of children, but since they don't have any, they sublime this need into taking care of multiple animals. Autism only makes it worse. I am not a psychiatrist though, so I am probably wrong.
