Except a person who is legitimately trans actually puts effort into their transition processor. Their gender dysphoria is so powerful that there’s absolutely zero peace of mind until each and every feature of their male body has been corrected. Chris grew his balding hair out, took cheap HRT, and called it a day. Also he wanted to grow a vagina under his actual dick so it’d be more accurate to say he wants to be a hermaphrodite so he can have his cake and eat it too.
I really think one of the reasons for his hatred toward his male body comes down to how poorly he aged. He seemed pretty fine with his appearance until around the time he hit his 20s and grew fat, ugly, bald and generally unhealthy.
I don't have any data to back me up here, but I really think that 99% of MtF "Lesbian" transgenders are really just autogynephilic.
Also, as mentioned by @Argh My Cigar , he really wanted the best of both worlds in his autistic mind by being an hermaphrodite. Or else he would've attempted orchiectomy right away instead of just self harming his taint in a make believe movement. I understand @The American Hedgehog as one of the guard dogs that seems to validate Chris' antics so he asserts his virtue signaling instead of taking shit from the LGBTQ+.

Hell, I'm surprised that he didn't develop serious health issues because of the cut on his taint.
You'd have to factor in Chris's natural laziness and general incompetence for his case. To him, he meets vague marks for femininity (he has a "female soul", has "breasts", has "long hair"). He can't tell how shitty it looks to an outsider.
He's also expressed distress even outside of the taint wound example. Like when Barb cut his long hair short, he freaked out and tried to use magic to grow it back again.

Well by that point Chris was already noticeably receding and this was pointed out to him by a lot of trolls and trollfriends alike. He probably also assumed growing his hair out would help him cover up his hairline and baldspot since that's pretty much what he ended up doing once he had enough to do a combover with.
Having a propensity for flying off the handle isn't mutually exclusive with showing distress at a particular trigger.
I dunno, I think that's putting the cart before the horse. He wanted long hair because it fit with his image of femininity. Obscuring his hairline is a side benefit of it.

First, I think he is so desperate for sexual contact with a woman that he decided to feminize himself and become the woman. He has become his own sweetheart.
Second, he was complete failure as a man, to the point that his dick, the physical manifestation of manhood, was broken and fucked up. He was sort of at the end of the rope in terms of being a sexually successful male, so he decided to play a different game. There's a mountain of transgender propaganda that says your life will improve in every possible way after you transition. Everything is just a symptom of you living in the wrong body. He fell for that.
Of course, if taking photos in your mom's under wear and having semen guzzling contests by yourself isn't enough evidence to point out a sexually depraved autogynepheliac, I don't know what is. You so have to factor in the fact that transgenderism is not real. I really don't want anyone to counter, "but trolls made him do it" because I know for a fact that trolls have tried to make him do a ton of dumb shit that did not take.
The female essence argument is bogus. I doubt Chris smooth brain could truly understand how it feels to be a woman because he covers bed sores on his nutsack with Cotex brand pads, listens to Britney, or wants long hair. So many men have long beautiful hair, so using that as an excuse to justify troonism is bogus. Chris' hair isn't even nice on top of that.

In Chris' case, it's probably AGP combined with the fact that he's a turbo incel. Women used to say "I'm a lesbian" to get him off their back. Then eventually Chris said, "hey, I can become a lesbian." Very common with incels. They see women as supremely desirable and think that if they become a woman, they will be desirable as well. Many such cases!
