i was falsely diagnosed with autism in 3rd grade, and the first dude i saw to try and go on testosterone was a dude who tried to tell me about autigender (and then said i didn't meet the criteria for dysphoria despite thinking fucking AUTIGENDER is a thing)

Marvin has leaked that Chris is now using female pronouns in regards to himself. This thread is the staff's official decision regarding this, and the forum's adaptation to this change. Social justice type problems have been at the very forefront of Internet culture for years now, so it is expected that this will be unwelcomed at various levels.

It is of very little surprise to me personally that Chris has decided he wants to be a woman. From his teen years, he has preached the virtues of playing with female toys. He has cross-dressed for half a decade. He says he is a lesbian, and has even described his infected taint piercing as looking like a labia. He has repeatedly said he does not want his male genitals. It is for these reasons, I am not of the opinion that this is a phase. I believe that, from now until the end of Chris's life, he will believe he is a woman.

However, Chris is not a woman, and he never will be. Chris was born a man. He carries male genetics. For the overwhelming majority of his life, he has said he is a straight male and, to most people here, that is how he is remembered. While I personally will continue to see him as a male, I understand that not everyone will agree with me. I do not wish to silence those opinions or force people to operate as I do.

For that reason, this decision has been reached.

Chris may be referred to as male or female, using male, female or gender-neutral pronouns. There is no requirement set.

My only request is that, if you are using female pronouns, you make it clear that it is Chris you are talking about. Help keep your posts easy to read for us cis scum.

However, beyond petty grammar, I will be enforcing a new rule: This thread is the only place that gender discussion is considered on-topic. Please, please, please do not derail every status update into a discussion of whether or not Chris is a "real tranny". Do not criticize people for using either pronouns. Do not piss me off with social justice warrior, or anti-social justice warrior bullshit.


To help summarize my thoughts on various reactions to this, ...

I want to refer to Chris as a female.
That is understandable. Chris wants to be seen as a female and respecting that is okay.

I want to refer to Chris as a male.
That is understandable. Chris is a male and has called himself a man his entire life up until now.

I want people to only refer to Chris as female.
That is understandable, but not going to happen. While it may be frustrating to see people blatantly defying Chris's wishes, I will not force people to adhere to female pronouns. Chris is a biological male, and to some, that is all that matters. I will not police language.

What's the difference between doing it to make themselves more comfortable in life and doing it to get what they want? If it's just the love quest angle, he still exhibits signs of gender dysphoria outside of the love quest.

I personally think that Chris' current sexual identity has been created from a few different things. Of course these ideas are not original but I feel they are the most likely. The First and probably biggest, is that Chris already has an extremely damaged view on sexuality due to his upbringing and his extreme porn consumption causing unrealistic ideas about sex. Mainly I'm talking about how Bob and Barb would routinely hammer into Chris how bad it was to be gay, and Chris is very likely to be at least bisexual. So in his own autistic way found a loophole around confronting his homo thoughts, by becoming the boyfriend free girl. The other biggest contributor would be his need for escapist fantasies. Chris' life has been shit, and wanting to escape from it is entirely believable for him to turn to when his narcissistic tendencies can no longer keep whats left of his mind intact. Speaking of his world class narcissism, it seems clear to me that he really believes himself to be the peek of physical perfection and now that he is the most beautiful "woman" to ever exist that would mean, in his own logic, that he is now prime candidate for any single man or woman. This is where we circle back to being gay as bad in his mind, he's a woman now, women like dick and aren't gay, therefore Chris is no longer gay. Of course I am merely a retard on the Internet and have no experience in sexual psychology, but it is fun to pretend and theorize.
