FAQ
- Riot? Matrix? Synapse?
- Riot is the reference client made by Vector.im, Matrix is the open protocol standard, Synapse is the server implementation for the Matrix protocol actually used on the server.
- Homeserver?
- This is the term used by Matrix to describe an individual server, as part of the larger Matrix federated network.
- Federated?
- Yeah, you can chat on the Kiwi Farms homeserver via another homeserver, and you can chat on other homeservers via the Kiwi Farms homeserver. Think of it like email where you can send and receive mail from other mail servers.
- What?
- Someone from your server is spamming our rooms.
- Ban the user from your room, then contact @crunklord420:matrix.kiwifarms.net to request user deactivation. We do not tolerate actual spam/room flooding.
