The server seems to be occasionally redirecting http Tor connections to https which breaks the connection and makes the site inaccessable for a while.
Was happening for most of last week.
Occasionlly? The only nodes I get in the random shuffle that don't upgrade to https are located in Austria, everything else does and causes
I've disabled https everywhere and it doesn't help. I don't know if it is the tor server operators who hate kiwifarms, the browser, or if it is just kiwifarms itself misconfigured.
No, for some reason it's just an automatic redirection on the forum side. Anything it recognizes as coming from an exit node gets sent to the onion service. This is also my guess as to why it randomly sends you to the HTTPS onion link (which doesn't work) whenever the onion itself is dead or it shits the bed in some other way. The unmasking attack happens naturally as you cycle 20 identities to find a route that will not get picked up. Want to know who uses KF over Tor? Just look for constant identity changes over a small period of time.i'm having both .net and .is redirect to tor randomly, is that some kind of unmasking attack?
edit: i'm retarded with wording. it was redirecting consistently to tor just 20 minutes ago, now it's back to normal on the clearnet
"working poorly" is vague. Is it slow? Does it occasionally fail to load?TOR is working rather poorly since yesterday, on both Brave and TOR Browser - someone's not happy about foreign deaths report, I assume?
