The only way a remake on the Mask could work is if it were a straight adaptation of the comic rather than an abstract comedy of it like the Jim Carry film.

But we all know it's not gonna be that, Hollywood probably doesn't know about the comic and if they do, they probably think it was licensed from the movie and not the other way around. So were most certainly guaranteed it's gonna be a remake on the Jim Carry take instead of the Cronenberg circus that it should be.

Oh wait, it's the author who wants to do a reboot. But why with Melissa McCarthy of all people? She's not funny. She's not attractive and she's not charismatic. She's the diet-Rosie O'Donnell. Get literally anyone else.
