Xochi Israel Vacation Update - Xochi will be bike riding the Upper Galilee and Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee for the next few days starting tomorrow (already tomorrow morning in Israel)
September 20th
Leaving her accommodations in Haifa (her rental car is parked with a friend) and she'll hop an Egged bus with her bike to Rosh HaNikra (which is on the border with Lebanon - closed border as Lebanon has no diplomatic relations with Israel) to see the coastal grottoes on the Mediterranean

From Rosh HaNikra, Xochi is going to bike out to Safed via Highways 899 and 89 - passing through lots of forest area and Mount Meron along the way. (Night accommodations in a nearby wine producing moshav village called Dalton)

September 21 - spending half the day in Safed (or Dalton depending upon how much wine Xochi is going to drink) - Xochi will either continue cycling or get a designated driver to drive her to Qiryat Shemona and Metulla (Night accommodations in Metulla's sorta old Alaska Inn)

September 22
From Metulla - Xochi is going bike quite a bit of kilometers around the Golan Heights passing through Tel Dan and Banias Nature Reserves to Majdal Shams, Ein Zivan, past Katsrin and the Jordan River via Highways 91 and 888 and continuing to the See of Galilee passing the Golan side of the lake on Highway 92 before coming back north to Tiberias for night accommodations

All told - About 90-100 kilometers on her bike (55 to 60 miles for the Americans who don't use metric)

September 23
Legs probably sore - Xochi might just chill by the Sea of Galilee - She might check out Capernaum
September 24 - busing back to Haifa to get her car.

Rosh Hashanah is tomorrow - I find that it is a little bit inspiring to me that Xochi is celebrating/observing the holiday bike riding. And It's no question about why Xochi is so fit now - this domme is in top physical condition and will push herself to the limit.

Meanwhile in Portland, I will be missing Xochi and being bitchy about the ankle monitor AKA Big Sister™ that Xochi locked me up in until she gets back from the Middle East October 5th/6th.
