There have been a few tells over the years, even while screeching about how XXstraightxxedgeXX he is. Sarah also said that Greg and Lainey would buy her booze despite Sarah being a minor and Lainey being her legal guardian.
More than that, Greg has sperged many times about how immoral alcohol consumption is and how anyone that engages in it are degenerates who basically deserve to have bad things happen to them since they are "asking for it" by drinking in the first place. Fast-forward a couple of years and Greg decides to "move the goal posts" regarding the morality of drinking alcohol once he realized it would be convenient for him to do so after discovering that he personally likes to drink.
The whole thing is very similar to how Greg publicly berated a pregnant Lainey all over Twitter when she made the decision to supplement her diet with fish, both for nutrition and to combat her chronically low iron. Her crime was taking the advice of her doctor, for the health of her child, instead of continuing to listen to Greg's shitty sloshed up ramblings about protein shakes and a plethora of vitamin pills.
Fast forward a bit, and like the unprincipled scumbag he is, despite knowing what an embarrassing shit-fit he publicly put Lainey through, he volunteers the fact that he's added fish into his own diet, and for vanity reasons no less! I put myself through the horror of sitting through the clip extremely slowed down so I could grab some screenshots that I believe point towards the first bottle being liquor. Notice the weird fucking way he drinks from it? From just the very corner of his mouth? It's a very small sip. Also, I do see a bit of a reaction to the liquor showing across his face. It's more obvious when you slow it down or look at stills.
