It was obvious Blade was going to get Susan'ed at some point, and despite him being a trash human, I did like him back in the day and he was one of the original 2 or 3 CoD commentators I started watching back in 2009. I enjoyed his earlier content, and I thought I'd at least archive a couple of what I thought were his more salient videos for posterity sake in the event he did get the boot. Something that offered a bit of insight into who he is.
Not defending present day him at all or trying to necessarily garner him sympathy, but there was a decent person deep down in there somewhere, and I thought if nothing else, it might be worth it for some people who are interested enough to watch this particular video to get an idea of how and why he ended up how he did. It's just unfortunate how it all panned out.

Too lazy to quote OJ but that's what addiction does to people. Most of them start out as decent or somewhat shitty and eventually turn into monsters. If they aren't stealing, abusing or causing a scene, then they're making everyone who cares about them worry and clean up their messes.

There definitely is a tragic story to Blade. Unlike somebody like Ethan Ralph who has a lot more wrong with him outside of his drug abuse, I don't think Blade is necessarily an evil person at his core. A lot of his atrocious behavior has likely been caused by his addiction issues, which makes for a situation that you can feel sympathetic for while watching unfold. It's hard to see any person destroy themselves via substance abuse.
The problem with feeling sympathy for him is that regardless of whether or not his behavior is caused by his drug addiction, he still has done a lot of shitty things that he needs to atone for. The fact that he won't take responsibility for any of them makes him a douchebag. What makes him even more frustrating is the fact that he recognizes he has a problem and knows what needs to be done in order to fix it, but never actually does it.
At the end of the day Blade's story is a cautionary tale. If he honestly gets his shit together and starts fixing all the mistakes he has made in his past, I would have no problem shaking his hand and congratulating him.
But he won’t get better, it’s a cycle. He says he’ll get better and tries being Brian Risso but at the end of the day he’ll always come back to being Blade. Or Boofy if you prefer.
The Film Fag within me would have this video play at his funeral.

When you can't even properly manage the rotting sores on your legs, I doubt you have the capabilities to manage video storage.

Holy fucking shit dude, I didn’t even notice the “only one I want to grope” line. My fucking God, there really is no bottom to the abyss. He’s so far removed from normal reality that he doesn’t even seem to realize how terribly off putting it is to have “serial groper” be a descriptor of your character that you find funny, even worse that it’s true. Even when not streaming he’s still a complete subhuman. I used to feel bad for this guy but after learning what I have about him, my sympathy has waned greatly.
