Both of them look like weird and weirdly dressed people, even in real life.
At a distance they look like Hobo and Grandma Hobo.
Oh yeah, Chris' mad parking skills with Son-Chu. It does sound like it needs an oil change.
I'm pretty confused myself since that was the judge telling them so up front and, you know, unless called, you're not supposed to go upfront.
Someone buy this man a beer.
I couldn't really picture it but after seeing the video, I'm just. What on Earth is that outfit about?
Classic! Chris just scowling the whole time at the court.
Really nice work with this.
The worst advice you can ever give Chris is to smile.
So, what's the deal with the PD? Was the guy the court assigned to them not good enough, or did they screw up and give him a personal injury lawyer or something?
Also, thanks for the update. Nice to see someone who delivers.
Thank you Rammspeiler for the update. That had to of been a special experience, to be in that courtroom, seeing how things would go for Chris. One can only imagine how it will be from there to the 2nd of April. One can only wonder how things will be if Chris brings up the misogyny angle in court.
I'm actually moderately impressed he managed to wedge it in there.
He's had a lot of practice doing it alone.
Great update, Rammspieler! You are a hero of the revolution.
That video of them leaving the courthouse is interesting for a few reasons (to me, anyway). It shows how much weight Barb has lost, and it also looks like she doesn't have much trouble moving around.
I forgot to mention this minor detail. But I think the whole Chris-Tran thing is for the long haul. The lower right windows at 14 BC were sporting a LGBT rainbow flag. I wonder how/why Barb is tolerating it.
It's probably "the Public Defender" who is called rather than a specific lawyer, though. That's how it works here and the lawyers always state both their name and their affiliation (representing the defendant on behalf of the Legal Aid Commission, the Aboriginal Legal Service, or whatever other community organisation is paying them).
It would be interesting to know why the lawyer can't represent Chris. If Barb arranged his representation, it's possible that she gave them the wrong impression about the nature of the case and so the wrong type of lawyer was allocated. If the Public Defenders pick up cases on the day for minor charges, then it's possible the error wasn't detected until court day. It would be great if Chris enlightens us on this but he may not understand himself why it happened.
Yeah I was surprised at how thin they both looked. Hence why I wasn't even sure if it was Barb at first.
Very cool, thanks for taking the trouble to do this, even though (as expected) nothing terribly interesting happened. I hope it was worth it for you, buddy, and it sounds like it was. Meanwhile the rest of us will analyse the ninety seconds of footage you've provided us as though they were the Zapruder film.
Zapruder to the extreme!
Wow, so Chris actually wore his graduation ring after all.
At least that part I got right.
Also, massive kudos to the intrepid Rammspieler.
I thought Son-Chu was an older car. When did he get this one?
Haha and of course Chris would manage to fuck up a car that looks to be less then ten years old.
IIRC Barb lost a lot of weight in the past few years. I think it was due to poor health.
