The implication here is that in the "real world" the Dunns have a pet motorcycle, which is just hilariously stupid.
Oh god, he's implying "normal" people have pet motorcycles

It might have worked if Enter hadn't written the scene the way he did. I still think it would have been funnier if he turned her into a normal kind of pet. You could get some decent physical comedy out of an animal as big as a horse learning to be a gerbil or something.
Now, I didn't read the Pretty Pony script because I've got to draw the line somewhere, so I have to ask, is Gumdrops supposed to be sentient or something? I just get the feeling that that's what Enter was going for based on the comments I've seen here.
Oh boy, a sentient pony in Enter's show. I was going to say, her and to a lesser extent, every other child in this universe, are terrible behind the wheel. So I found this remark particularly odd.8. Sally worries about the bus driver's reaction time on the road in spite of his fully developed adult brain. (EDIT: Previous episodes establish Sally is an extremely reckless driver, making her concern out of character.)
Come on now, you really don't expect Enter to explain this shit now, do you?9. This entire plot happens because "a wizard did it."
I only skimmed through this part, but I really hope this is permanent, even if the episode itself is considered "Non-canon" or something. The whole idea of a pet horse looked like it had little to no joke opportunities from the get go.13. GUMDROPS DIES WHAT THE FUCK.
Apparently to our good friend, Horses=Motorcycles. Which I don't think is how biology works.Actually, why is Gumdrops a motorcycle there? If he wanted a normal pet, it could have been a dog or something.
He thought "Finding Nemo" was a reliable source to Whale's dietApparently to our good friend, Horses=Motorcycles. Which I don't think is how biology works.
As if he needed more things to fail at.He thought "Finding Nemo" was a reliable source to Whale's diet
so, yeah, he sucks at biology
But that is of course school's fault, no doubtAs if he needed more things to fail at.
If Enter sees this he may make "My Pretty Pony" the pilot, that way the Pony wouldn't be put in the "established" castYou know what the irony is? He said in his "Fairly Odd Pet" review that adding pets to an already existing cast never works.
I'd like to see how he reworks that. If only because he's probably going to fuck it up even more.If Enter sees this he may make "My Pretty Pony" the pilot, that way the Pony wouldn't be put in the "established" cast
Oh, but this is his show, and since the Almighty Enter is such an original, creative genius, it's totally okay when he does it.You know what the irony is? He said in his "Fairly Odd Pet" review that adding pets to an already existing cast never works.
You take things pretty damn literally. If that was the case I would never have criticized it to start with. I don't think he's God either.
