So I caught wind of this game a few days ago, it's from Introversion (of DEFCON and Prison Architect fame). It appears to be in pre-alpha development. The premise is Earth is destroyed by a comet and a short time prior a handful of survivors use present day space tech to build some lunar rockets and set up a colony on the moon. The goal of the game is to get the colony running, manage resources, research tech, then spread humanity throughout the solar system while trying to keep the remains of humanity together, not turning on itself and imploding. The twist is there's a social and political side to this, kind of like Frost Punk. You can pass decrees/laws like banning religion :neckbeard: declare martial law and the like which has benefits and consequences. From the various interviews I've read it seems like it will be a combination of parts "City Skylines", "Frostpunk", and "Dwarf Fortress". If they pull this off then, it's a buy for me.

I've been a huge Introversion fan ever since Uplink. I'll be buying it the moment they start accepting money.

Prison Architect was trash, but DEFCON was fun. If they use the same graphics as Prison Architect, I’ll pass on it. I hate everything about that game to the point where I can’t play Rimworld because it looks too similar (plus Rimworld isn’t a good game in my opinion, I’ll just play Dwarf Fortress).
