Five years ago I would have said "Democrat," but now? I don't fucking know. Seems like every time I turn my head the agendas of every party change, usually for the worse. I believe in things that in the past were generally considered "liberal," but that shit's gone to such extremes now.
That's how I feel, and I thought of myself as a liberal too.

Looking forward to midterms. Did you register to vote, fellow Americunts?
Somehow I'm always asked that, and every time I got to my local ballot area I'm always am. I guess it's just how it is for me.

You didn't go anywhere. The party took an abrupt turn into crazytown and left you behind, much as it did every other Democrat, myself included.

It's like the Left Behind series, except replace the tribulations with undiluted Autism and Fail.
That's exactly what happened.

Yeah, I get that. But there isn't really any established party to go to anymore. The conservatives are just as fucky for other matters and while I generally call myself a "moderate," there isn't a moderate party. Fuck, even the non-mainstream parties are all shit-tier when you do some digging. I guess that's always been the case to an extent but it's getting out of hand.
It would be nice to have a third party to belong in that was just right for those of us who think this way.

I still consider myself very far left, but I guess now I'd be some sort of "classical" lefty. Identity politics is a load of fucking bullshit, pretty much all the problems the West faces are economic issues, and these pseudo-trannies are fucking wrecking it all by making it all about them. I'm annoyed that the Dems seem to be neoliberal big business assholes in disguise, and all of them in general are barking up the wrong tree and too many of them are pandering to identity politics. I'm certainly a lefty but I don't consider myself a Democrat. It'll be a cold day in hell before I vote for anyone from the modern Republican party though. Fuck me, right?

I suppose I would be considered a "Classical Liberal" too, at least, what I thought it was all about.

Up until 2016, I went with pretty much anything Democrat. Hell, I was even a Bernie supporter. That was, up until Hillary got the nomination.

I was taken back by the fact someone as crooked as Hillary Clinton would take the nomination, but I wasn't totally sure yet. I took some soul searching for a couple months and came to the conclusion that Trump and the Republicans were making way more sense than the Democrats were (which at that point, had become regressive as fuck). That was when I started going the more libertarian route, being a mix of things in my political beliefs.

tl;dr, Voted for Trump, happy I did. Calling myself a moderate libertarian now.

-The Road to Wigan Pier is Orwell's best book, and you should all read it.
Except for the second part where he engages in a prototype e-slapfight with HG Wells. I hadnt been so bored to tears by contrived infighting since I read Mein Kampf

Though I will say he gave Wells a sick burn that should be used more often.
"Though seldom giving much evidence of affection for the exploited, he is perfectly capable of displaying hatred against the exploiters"

Theres also this great paragraph.

"But is it? Sometimes I look at a Socialist — the intellectual, tract-writing type of Socialist, with his pullover, his fuzzy hair, and his Marxian quotation — and wonder what the devil his motive really is. It is often difficult to believe that it is a love of anybody, especially of the working class, from whom he is of all people the furthest removed. The underlying motive of many Socialists, I believe, is simply a hypertrophied sense of order. The present state of affairs offends them not because it causes misery, still less because it makes freedom impossible, but because it is untidy; what they desire, basically, is to reduce the world to something resembling a chessboard. "

Central Authoritarian with some very light left leaning tendencies.

The two most unique points I have is that those on extensive welfare should have to exchange their right to vote for it as to avoid nanny states, and that simply being born in the country shouldn't make one a citizen. In addition we should be bringing back monarchies to have limited power due to the stabilization they can provide.

Started out basic bitch proto-Bernie liberal, became a Right-Libertarian after Ron Paul, Nationalist after Trayvon/Ferguson, went Eco-Fascist after witnessing how much of a train wreck the last fifteen years have been for mankind.

To the left, I'm right wing for my beliefs in capitalism and personal rights. To the right, I'm a RINO for my belief in maximum personal rights. To centrists, I'm also right wing but not as far as the left think I am. Personally, I guess I consider myself on the right enough to have a Republican bias. Not zeal, just a preference. The words I give myself are "staunchly pro-Constitutional". Either that, or "more anti-Federalist than Jefferson".

Most of the political tests I’ve taken are outright dogshit, especially the Political Compass one. There’s simply no nuance to them, and it skews your results.

As for my views/political test results, I am generally a right-leaning Libertarian (don’t consider myself Libertarian, as I have a beef with the party and ideology); however, I wasn’t always like that. At one point I was close to being AnCap, but that simply doesn’t appeal to me, especially with government abuse being replaced with corporate abuse. I considered my myself liberal at another period in time, but it’s far too progressive for my taste. Classical liberalism was ruined by a bunch of dipshits, alongside the Centrist position, so I eventually abandoned them due to both being an absolute joke. Even considered Communism at one point, but who wants to wait in breadlines while you starve?

Like the infamous “Libertarians become fascists” meme, I have been enticed by fascism. I guess the appeal of authority matches my need for control, and the cynical side of me goes against my maximum freedom side. I doubt I could ever turn to it, because I know just how brutal it can be. It’s definitely not ideal in the slightest.

TL;DR: Right-leaning Libertarian who has considered a lot of political viewpoints.
