For me, Iron Maiden's "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son". I've always found the album to be really dull. Only songs I don't skip over while listening to Maiden on a shuffle is Moonshine and Wasted Years.
Another for me is Judas Priest's "British Steel". It certainly isn't a bad album, far from it, but when compared to Screaming For Vengeance or Painkiller, it doesn't deserved to be publicly considered their best album.
And fuck it, one more for the road. I find "Desperado" by The Eagles to be better than "Hotel California". The peaks are higher on Hotel California, but Desperado has more consistent quality tracks for me.

I absolutely adored Dark Side of The Moon when I was a teenager, but -- like you with Nevermind -- I have heard it now so much over the last 20 years that its just tiresome now. I don't understand how radio disc-jockeys can cope.Damn, you all took my pick! Nevermind wasn't bad, there were some crackers on there but for me, its when Nirvana got really commercial and to this day I can hardly stand to hear 'Come As You Are' or 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' more than maybe once a year
Never tire of In Utero or Bleach, personally love Incesticide but Unplugged in New York is perfection imo
So here's my second choice.... I just don't get the love for this album myself

OK Computer is too good an album for me to call it overrated, but that's just my personal view. You can still get bored of a good album. Overrated albums are when you feel an album doesn't deserve the praise it gets.

There are 3 good songs on this album (Sunday Morning, I'm Waiting for the Man, Heroin), the rest of it is unlistenable garbage. Getting rid of the German chick who sang like a retard was a good decision.
This is probably still in my top 5 rap albums of all time but I'm willing to admit it's very front loaded. Second half of the album is extremely forgettable but I still love the fuck out of the first side.

Does the 2019 Rammstein album count as overrated? I remember it getting praised on its release, but I fucking hated it. No songs stood out at all, no solo was memorable, no chorus had me butchering the German language in a shit attempt to sing along along with it. Only thing memorable was the music videos; Radio for actually being good, Deutschland for being pretentious shit to appease to woketards. Did Liebe Ist Für Alle Da just drain them for all their creative worth and they never recovered it despite a decade long break?
I don't find it unlistenable, but upon first hearing it, I was disappointed that the album wasn't weirder, since everyone always talked it up as a cacophonous masterpiece. Would've found it more intriguing if it was less coherent.
Yeah nah this changed the game the way Sucker MC’s changed it. There was hints of the sound here & there before this dropped but nothing as cohesive as this.

Not an uncommon opinion: I find Pink Flyod's The Wall to be super pretentious and it is one of the only well known late 70s rock albums I dropped while listening to.

I'll do you one better and say that EVERYTHING Tool's done (mainly AEnima and Lateralus) are overrated.
As for an actual album, I'd go for King Crimson's Discipline. Just some boring New Wave schtick and yet it's worshipped as hard as their actual greats. I'll never understand why...

One of the first bands I got into when I discovered my own music taste back in the day and still one of my favourites.
This album just feels like non of their side ventures/solos/bands/books/acting etc was working out and thus they found out they make more money when playing with fire on stage but all of their old stuff was becoming very stale and people were itching for other bands, thus them pushing out this album in probably a year, I refuse to believe they worked on this album for more than a year and definitely not for 10 years.
That being said, I can listen to the songs from this album if its in my playlist.

This. Thank you. Puppe was the only song I actually enjoyed off the new album, though tbh I kinda dropped off just before Liebe Ist Für Alle Da so I’m not too big on their “newer” stuff anyway.
For me personally, Follow The Leader by Korn is overrated, sure it has Freak on a Leash, Pretty and Dead Bodies Everywhere, but the rest just feels kinda lacklustre and jokey, especially stuff like All In The Family.
90 percent of the stuff shilled by /mu/, the RYM top 100, and any "music curator" on Youtube.

Everyone was treating this album like the second coming of Christ. I remember reading reviews and comments from people who clearly didn't like parts of the album, but they had to say stuff like, "Oh, it's objectively good! Just not for me," and shit like that just to deflect criticism.
I remember one of Cinema Sins' sister channels, Music Video Sins, doing their normal, overly nitpicky shtick for the album's lead single "Humble", only to at the very end say, "This song is actually very important to the world" and they took away almost all of the sins...and they STILL got shat on for it.
I don't like Anthony Fantano at all, but that dude also got some unnecessary bullshit for his opinion that the album wasn't a 10/10.
Kendrick Lamar in general is treated like a sacred cow that you absolutely cannot criticize, ever. I personally think he sounds like he has gauze shoved up his nose.
