Overwatch is FINALLY getting cross-play!

FAQ about Crossplay here.

Cross-progression will not be available "at launch."
Console players will need to link a Battle.net account upon the cross-play patch.
Competitive cross-play will be limited to consoles; PC players will have their own matchmaking pool.
If you have a party of console+PC, you will be matched with the PC matchmaking pool.
Subsequently, aim assist would be turned off when you match with PC players.
PC players cannot disable cross-play.

It's about time; now work on cross-progression.

It depends how generous the aim assist is in console versions - but there will absolutely be one "best version" of the game.

Typically it's PC, but if the game has too much "aim assist" a good player will become an aimbot on a console. It also means there is 4 times as many ways for the game to get compromised in some way (ex - an exploit on the switch can now be used in crossplay matches).

When i played the game i played on PS4 before switching to PC. Unless they did some tweaking to the aim assist i don't see it effecting anything because i remember having to turn it off or toning it down because it screwed up my shots.
