I finally finished reading through this thread. One of the many things that bothered me while reading was Paige claiming to have OCD that is “pure O”.
Pure O is when you have the intrusive and obsessive thoughts “not accompanied by outward behavioral compulsions.” Pure O has the rituals in your head, such as “mentally reviewing memories or information, mentally repeating certain words, mentally un-doing or re-doing certain actions.”
Going on twitter, searching your username, and replying to anyone and everyone talking about you isn’t pure O. I don’t think she has OCD, but if you’re going to lie about it, you should probably actually know the different ‘types’ of OCD so you don’t look stupid talking about your so called compulsions.

God, I love artcows that aren't so mentally deficient that they're literally exceptional and are instead weird, quasi-functional bottomless pits of neuroticism that had okay-ish art at best that inevitably falls apart at the seams out of laziness and a tacit refusal to improve the substance of their work. The difference between the inflated left hand and Salad Fingers right hand is killing me. There's so many other ways that "improved" drawing alone is fucked, but you'd have to see that and at least be bothered by it.

Since we're seeing more of Paige and it's been mentioned already, this phenomena of mediocre artists gaining some fame and then becoming worse over time and avoiding criticism isn't new. We've seen it with others on this site as well. I think the sad part in all of this is that being mediocre isn't the worst thing in the world. I personally wouldn't care if they admitted to and continued to stay where they are. It's overall Paige's choice. BUT, it can be seen as frustrating as if these people just dropped their crappy attitude they could actually go somewhere.
People might disagree with me, but Early-Paige, Rory, Dobson, HAD potential (emphasis on had), but their egos just completely destroyed that. Paige could've made a flawed, but fun little game project, but completely destroyed ties with everyone working with them, making it EVEN HARDER to start anew. Paige could've taken the criticism and actually improved, but instead doubled-down and stagnated. Paige could've just admitted she was wrong or upheld her crappy opinions, but instead she rebrands, runs away and tries to sanitize her history. It's almost sad how much they've been choosing the wrong options all this time. It's like seeing someone chose the crappy options for a bad ending in a visual novel.

It's funny that the community that's supposed to be about accepting different sizes loves to shit on people with body issues. Who's to say those chubby girls don't need some body positivity too? It just shows how shallow these people are and how they don't understand normal people don't want to weight 400 pounds.
