Literally nobody plays Paradox games, aside from Cities and Stellaris, except massive history spergs. Those are people who already have strong (retarded) opinions. Feedback from the game accentuates it but doesn't cause it.

Playing Devils Advocate; Byzantines would probably rely more on the Royal Court than anything. The Pre-Order DLC Pack came with 2 Culture Packs and this DLC. It’s likely to be their next pack.

A person I knew in University delved deep into the study a finding LGBT people in history as their thesis and it was all just applying 21st century stereotypes. I'm not surprised that it's socially acceptable for a company to do this for their games.

This I can relate to. Back in spring of 2018 after Waking the Tiger for HOI4 they made a change that completely ruined naval air combat. What was once semi meta to use for naval combat turned into the biggest waste since all the naval air power could get shot down easily. Entire carrier wings get wiped out with little to no damage to show for it.
I am not a fan of not just the GUI but how the entire game does not use dynamic sliders anymore to deal with crises that spring up. I also worry about the entire economic system being simplified to the point of being retarded. I find how they are handling what is right now presented to be concerning, that the upcoming sequel lacks the complexity of the prior two games in the series.
They also did not give the lustful, zealot, slothful, and adulterous traits too. Also, I do not know why they put "her" as a lesbian since "she" was bisexual and fucked dudes on the side.

I've been playing paradox games since the HOI1 and EU2 days and they've always been like this. The only thing that changed is that they're actually less likely to fix their games these days.

like many of commented/bitched about, the UI's simplicity is worrying and the semi-cartoonish aesthetic is frankly unappealing. The political mapmode does look quite nice, the decentralized states seem interesting.

I guess I'll include a short 3 minute video speculating about the mysterious combat system that's going to be implemented in the Vicky3. Virtually all combat in Paradox games has loosely been based off of Vicky2's, which while nice for the time/era the game is based in, doesn't fit well for other time periods and misses a lot of strategic complexities of war.

combat may be almost entirely hands off with the player making a few general strategic decisions (I.E; supply management, when to engage, tactics used, etc.). While a bold theory, it feels somewhat true, and may have profound consequences depending on how it's implemented.
