If you had the choice to go back in time to any period in history or stay in the present, which would you pick. And if back in time which era and why.

I’d stay. If I went into the past I’d feel obligated to stop 9/11, which would involve going up against the entire US government and whatever magic they used to melt the steal beams. It just sounds like more trouble than it’s worth.
