there has been some drama involving Pastor Steven Anderson recently. Steven Anderson founded a organization called the New IFB, which is a group of Baptist Churches connected to eachother. One of the pastors Donnie Romero got in the news for resigining after according to Steven Anderson, using prostitutes, marijuana, and gambling. Donnie Romero previously got on the news forsaying that the victims of the Pulse Orlando Shooting deserved to die and that he hoped that God would finish off the survivors in the hospital.
apparently another pastor named Adam Fannin is claiming that there is stuff that hasn't been reported about Donnie Romero and has taken issue with Pastor Anderson's planned replacement for Romero. Pastor Anderson has come out against Adam Fannin. There appears to be quite a bit of drama ensuing in the New IFB at the moment.

He's definitely amusing to listen to and I appreciate that he doesn't give two shits about how the majority of Christians disagree with him and that society as a whole considers his views repugnant. The difference between him and other IFB types is Pastor Steve puts his shit all over the internet and is great at promoting his church.

The main reason he wanted this banned was because he deemed the video to have threatening speech. He usually responds to low-hanging fruit like this. He got a bit of flack from this video because some claimed he advocated censorship. His response to the criticism was this:

His wife was mentioned in passing earlier in the thread, and as commented she really is just as batshit as he is.On her mommy blog she spergs about how her style of parenting/schooling/dress/cooking/marriage is SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOURS ROT IN HELL YOU HEATHENS. Both of them beat their kids shitless for minor infractions, and she also left one of her younger daughters (they have 10 or 11 kids) with an untreated tongue tie (which can cause difficulties in nursing or sucking a bottle if bad enough and this child’s was) so the kid was effectively starving.
I feel bad for the kids as both Stevie and Zsu have obvious favorites and the rest catch hell from their angry manlet dad and raging bitch mom.

Steve Anderson is crazy but he has done some good. For example his documentary where he went to the holy land to view christian holy sights but he never stepped foot in Israel the entire time he was there because he is an outspoken critic on zionism and the Israeli government. One of the main parts of this documentary was showing how horribly the Palestinians are treated by the Israelis.

My family is fundie and I've been watching his wife for a few years now.
Anderson was denouncing what happened to George Floyd, they started deleting comments when other fundies said maybe it is best not to comment on a blasphemous pornographer (yes, some fundies still speak like someone on a 50's episode of Dragnet).
Anderson needs to stop worrying about Floyd and Kanye West and go worry about his wife who is the next Andrea Yates in the making.
She uploaded a YouTube video manic as hell and worried about the protests getting close to her.
She has 11 children and severely untreated PPD.
It was deleted before i could grab it.
She does that from time to time...her FB is all cheerful or agreeing with her husband but she will drop a Magda Goebbels final days in the bunker video (and then immediate delete).

He has a long standing hate for police and CPS because they have been called numerous times because of his gaggle of children basically raise each other due to his wife being continually pregnant and or checked out with severe and untreated postpartum depression.
