Good catch. Patrick was permanently suspended (again) on October 20th, and his alt account was banned for ban evasion shortly thereafter. This was after a (3-day?) temporary suspension on October 8th for multiple counts of abusive language, tragically, on the release date of his last book (an admitted ripoff of The Hunt for Red October). Nothing is ever his fault, so it all must be the work of Nazi cyberterrorists. He will likely return, though, as he has proven he is willing to spend 10 months, and several thousands of dollars on lawyers to hassle Twitter until they unban him (minus his beloved checkmark).

September 30th until the last few days saw many hilarious events occur, which I will be chronicling in this thread in a subsequent post. These will include:

Video of Patrick humiliating himself in "racist" traffic court to the soundtrack a publicly accessible Zoom call full of lovable, highly coincidentally named rascals who really ought to "mute their devices!" He was caught going 20-24 mph over the speed limit and mounted no intelligible defense, yet still yammered on and on in an unsuccessful attempt to sound smart.

Video of Patrick shortly after his latest permanent suspension in a university webinar on alien civilizations in science fiction or something, again being pestered by rascals. He certainly did not appear to have spent the intervening time in a drunken screaming fit:

Cause of Ban
The cause is a bit murky. It was likely for several reasons, but he had been banned for a few days beginning on October 8th for abusive language and harassment, so it was likely mainly that. Twitter seemed to adopt a significantly harsher stance on insulting other users, and caught up on reports, which was bad news for some who groundlessly alleges other users are rapists, racists, pedophiles (oddly turning a blind eye to the Science-Fiction and Fantasy community), Nazis, criminals, fascists, stalkers, domestic terrorists, etc., in addition to regular insults (idiot, stupid, dipshit, micropenis, eat my entire ass, etc.).

He also made numerous statements that could easily qualify as encouraging politically motivated violence. Lastly, he made at least two posts gloating about Rush Limbaugh announcing he has terminal cancer:

which attracted a lot of attention from the non-O&A crowd. Speaking of which, Patrick CONSTANTLY made enemies who had absolutely no ties to the O&A remnants. He was still in the crosshairs of the Bernie crowd for his belligerent behavior during the Democratic primary; he angered the sacred Trans community by barking at them that they tire too easily and don't do enough for social justice; he made many female author and reader enemies in the GoodReads community for laughing off the harassment they receive as trivial compared to his; he pissed off thousands of Kobe Bryant fans by alleging he actually was a rapist immediately after his death; "Pat Posts" routinely appeared on 4chan that were not posted by anyone in the O&A community; he was hated by large numbers of NRA members and Ben Shapiro fans; and many other pockets of hostility.

Patrick played Twitter on Very Easy difficulty. He did nothing but lay on his couch and make Trump-bad posts and participate in whatever was the Cancel du jour. He made enemies wherever he went. It's very possible that he'll be back, in Mewler-esque form or being reinstated after spending many more thousands on lawyers. He's been posting on Facebook for 10 Likes, and then screenshotting and uploading those posts to Instagram for 7 Likes. There's simply no way a narcissist of his magnitude can be satisfied with that after getting tens of thousands of likes for formulaic Trump-bad tweets, and fancying himself an e-celeb.

Zero people even noticed he was gone until a wildly popular imposter Patrick appeared.

Part of what keeps me going day after day is watching these types who are warned, by many people, over and over and over again, that they may want to be hesitant in instituting bans in these places because it will hit them sooner or later.
