The interview audio would be tricky to use as evidence since Rick/his lawyers can just say he didn't really mean what he said, that it was illegally obtained, that it's fake, etc. It might be used as evidence for discovery on Rick's emails or communications, like if he's being bankrolled by the SFWA, the fat fuck probably said the same shit to them privately. All of that's expensive though for both parties so I think it'll only happen if Quasi/his lawyers really want this fat fuck to pay for his abuse of the legal system.So it's obvious at this point that he's going to lose his case against Quasi, but will his comments here, including his position that he will refuse to respect court orders in the event of a loss (Gee who does that sound like? Trump?) and the admission that he is seeking to financially destroy his opponents via the legal system (more Trump?) move the needle going forward? Will this material appear in this case or will it have to wait until the appeals? I have a hard time believing that this stuff, especially if worse comes out in the next three installments won't torpedo his chances at winning on appeal.
