- Crucial 1TB M.2 SSD
- Silverstone SG13 ultra compact case
- Silverstone SX700 Platinum power supply

(Mostly) built from hand-me-down parts.

- AMD FX 6300 (laugh at me for using Piledriver CPUs) at 3.5 GHz with turbo cores disabled
- Nvidia GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5
- 8GB DDR3 RAM, 1600MHz
- MSI 970A-G46 motherboard
- 1TB Seagate ST1000DM003 SATA HDD
- Rosewill Challenger U3 ATX case
- Raidmax 500W power supply
- Acer 20 inch 1680x1050 screen

-AMD FX-8350
-MSI 970 SLI Krait
-8gb of DDR3 from Corsair (XMPS)
-CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO
-AMD RX 480 8GB (Reference model from ASUS)
-250GB SanDisk SSD
-1TB HDD from Toshiba (forgot what RPM it is, 7200 maybe?)
-600b EVGA PSU
-Corsair 300R Carbide
-4TB HDD (1TB Western Digital Blue and a 3TB Western Digital Purple. Both I would use with an external hard drive bay)
The unfortunate part was having someone assemble it for me though at the time I didn't want to fuck up the parts, especially since my hands get sweaty (no doubt from internally feeling like I'll fuck it up).
-HP 22uh monitor (24 inches iirc. First 1920x1080 monitor I got)

Holding out a bit longer on this thing but I want to upgrade to a Ryzen cpu and mobo (an Ryzen 1400 or 1500x) and maybe an m.2 SSD for my operating system. Maybe also get a better psu in case I upgraded my GPU though I definitely want a new case (either a HAF EVO XB or Air 540) and give the old computer to either my dad or sister (the gpu they'd get would be an old 250x I have lying around).

Wow, almost all amd cpu users.

I have a ryzen 1600 at 3.85
8 gb ram 2133 oced at 2666
Rx 480 8gb stock
A 250gb crucial ssd
And a b350 gigabyte mobo.

Dont know why, but with ryzen I get shitty performance with nvidia cards and vsync on. I did get a lot of drops to 58, even though I would do many more fps without vsync. because of that Had to swap my 980ti, for a 480, since I play on 60hz tv.

Definitely a little expensive at $3k CAD, but I've budgeted for it.

Figuring out what the my best choices are has been pretty challenging tbh.
PCPartsPicker really helps, but it can't tell you things like "if you gpu is DOA, the tech support line will just laugh and call you a fag", or "sometimes this power supply will just explode".

Ooh, a fellow SFF enthusiast, how is the SG13 treating you, temps-wise?

Pretty damn fine. With a blower video card all the hot air from that goes out the back and is well isolated and by having the fins of the CPU cooler parallel to the front case fan I can get rather good airflow. It's a little warmer than ideal but no throttling or magic smoke ejection even under load.

With a fan GPU I wouldn't like to see the temperatures though.

Rosewill is okay in the grand scheme of things. I've never had one; I've always been Corsair until my current build and that was because Silverstone's gear is just as good, often more compact, and cheaper.

How's your CPU temps? Also, have you tried undervolting your GPU, and how are you doing, noise-wise?
