The real question I'd like to ask is, why are we teaching children about sex in the first place? I don't honestly think the demographic that Blue's Clues is supposed to be aimed at needs to be bombarded with garbage like race issues and gender identity and shit.

This is the "gender questioning" flag which we can see is probably the actual origin of the flag. All of the float flags are other queer flags although some are kind of obscure.

The OG gay flag is tacky as fuck, other flags just follow its tradition.
It's tacky but at least works as a flag; embracing symbolism, using colors decently and posessing a functional design. The rest from the troon flag to the pedo flag fail in terms of color design and flag design. Usually they also ignore symbolism and just slap some colors on there, which is just infuriating. The whole point of this thread actually highlights the problem, since the flags are designed so poorly, a "normal" queer flag can be mistaken for a pedo symbol or just pastel decorations.
The show is supposed to be aimed at pre-schoolers. Why is the “questioning” flag even in there (if that’s what it is)? Kids that age shouldn’t even be thinking about their sexuality.
I don't know. As I said, acknowledging gays existing makes sense - with legal gay marriage there will be a few lods somewhere who's got gay dads or what have you, but the whole pride shit, including transgenders and asexuals, etc. doesn't make sense in a show aimed at very small children. That shit doesn't really come in until puberty or so.
