The problem with the whole "even murderers and child rapists should get to keep their human rights" thing is that some people will never, ever respect the rights of others. Some people just can't be pulled back into society, though it's obviously a case-by-case thing rather than "all x are sociopaths anyway". If you keep handicapping yourself by playing by the rules against someone who will continue to break them, you lose. The fucker will manipulate the shit out of everyone and find the loophole they need to continue destroying lives if that's what gives them a boner. And they can do that because they know there will never be consequences they can't somehow escape.

There seems to be an assumption that if you remove the pedophilia paraphilias from these people that they would become functional human beings. Even if this was possible (it's not) you're ignoring the comorbid disorders that come with sexual fetishes.

Many pedophiles would get a rise out of manipulating their naive therapist. Convincing them they have learned from their sins and reformed, then going out and doing the same shit. I'm reminded of Ed Kemper, when one of his probation psychiatrist wrote: "..and I would see no psychiatric reason to consider him to be of any danger to himself or to any member of society...". One of his victim's decapitated heads was in the trunk of his car at the time.

Serial killers have some commonality with pedophiles in that their crimes are often sexually motivated. Except serial killers murder their victims, pedophiles keep them alive most of the time. Sometimes for the purpose of being able to just continuously abuse them until they get too old.

Pedophiles don't deserve "human rights" because they defy basic human instincts. The drive to protect our young is a biological instinct. They have shown an inability to function in society. To remove a cancerous tumor, you must kill it. Talking about our feelings isn't going to cure cancer.

Interesting tidbit: Europeans for centuries have executed murderers and other criminals quickly. This basically eradicated genes that made people murderous, thus reducing the crime rate in Europe. A similar thing should be done to pedos, but I don't know if it could happen in this age.

Lost in this debate is the rights of the children. Most kids, believe it or not, don't want to fuck adults. When they're old enough to understand what sex is, and those urges start showing up, they want to experiment with people their own age. Pedos are very shocked to learn this.

People in this thread are wanting to socially construct a world where being a pedo is bad, human rights are socially constructed by your validity to be human enough to have them.

I typed in the word "gene" in a word search to see if "genetics" or "genes" were ever even brought up and to no surprise, of the 24 instances I found of the phrase "gene", none of them completed with a result that related to genetic research.

There's no way to prove that culling murderers from the populace was solely responsible for the reduced future crime rate, just the same way you can't prove that violence and sexual assault went down due to an increase to violent vidya and pornography.

You can't exactly prove a causal factor between genetics and inclination to murder if you can't examine the DNA of every single person who had died during that period to show they share a common genetic trait, which puts the kibosh on any notion of a followup knockout study to prove that such a gene would cause an increase to a propensity for violence. This claim you've made isn't just disputable or debatable, it's unfalsifiable.
