I like dogs but some people are obsessed with them and I think I've figured out why. They're psychopaths.

There's the obvious points like how dogs are obedient and submissive which is why Hitler was a dog lover, but we're not morons so we're already aware that dog lovers are equivalent to Hitler. I personally think they're even worse than Hitler. Here's why.

Let's contrast with cat people. While dog people love dogs because they're subservient little bitches, cat people love cats because a cat actually has a personality. Unlike dogs, every cat has its own unique personality; they're individuals.

Dogs, however, are all the same. They're predictable, routine. Who likes things predictable and routine? That's right, autistics. Dogs are the autists of the animal world so it's no coincidence that autistic people adore them.

That's proof that the only people that care about dogs are autistics. I win!

Some rodents and birds are actually pretty affectionate and personable (though birds tend to be a "one person" pet).

The closest I can come to agreeing with this thread is it sucks fucking hard to watch people take on pets they can't really handle. Even just older people who don't walk their dogs enough or fall asleep after work and forget to feed their cats.

Anyone who becomes too dependent on their animals for validation and affection have some issues...not sure that they are psychopaths but a lot of people abandon the concept of human relationships and just get an animal.
