People who have peaked in life, have you started going downhill? What’s it like? - You always hear that someone “peaked in Highschool/college/uni etc...”

Anyone who thinks they have hit their peak before 80 is wasting his or her life. There's no reason why people can't set new goals and new challenges for themselves for their entire lives. I know a guy who became fluent in a new language at the age of 79. I know another who became a published author for the first time at 75. I know another who earned a Ph.D. at 72.

It is all about whether or not you are a doer or someone who just lets life happen. And you don't even have to set huge goals. Catching your first fish or learning how to change the oil in your car at 70 is a step forward too.

Our bodies decline as we age, but that does not have to stop us from achieving many things.

So, sorry, can't answer your question. Too much left to do.

How do you know if you've peaked tho? Things might continue to improve and you'll find more happiness. Alternatively, life can suck, and you'll never peak or reach your full potential.

True. But I know I peaked physically sometime in my mid-late 20's. I skated a good bit after that too. But when I turned 35 shit started hurting and didn't stop hurting. I know I don't like it but I also know it is never going to stop so's I'm just going to have to live with it.

So, yeah, learning to mountain climb is out. Writing poetry is still very much in play.

I enjoy these 'hab i peaked? uwu' posts, and try to imagine the context ... did OP suffer their first romantic break-up, are their OnlyFans receipt declining - did you lose the sports championship after so much work?

Life is more complex than ones own junior 2d rationalizations. Letting this mental trap become a part of your identity seems to be self-crippling and a soothing cope for those with low-iq.

It's fun noticing there is one user who is giving butthurt reacts to anything even mildly helpful given in this thread. I for one will cheerfully take my autistic rating for knowing a popular television reference.
